I planted a whole bag of wildflower seeds in the spring in an area of my yard that often times collects rain. But I was thinking that these little flowers would then get all of the moisture it needed to sustain themselves for the whole summer. We tilled and planted and watered them for a few weeks until a large rain storm came through and washed away all of our hard work. But one Black-Eyed Susan prevailed and here she is in all her macro glory. 😀
